With its sleek design, aft helm stations for instinctive steering, lively central cockpit, and bright spaces, everything has been designed to deliver direct sensations and true agility under sail, while catering to today’s hybrid lifestyle at sea!
The Excess 13 is a cruising catamaran, a true sailboat capable of ocean passage-making. The boat’s potential is felt as soon as you leave harbor, giving you a dizzying sense of freedom. The very direct helm allows you to feel the connection with the sea and fine-tune everything. Sensations are increased exponentially. The forward-facing chart table keeps you in touch with the elements and allows you to navigate with pinpoint accuracy. Like its predecessor, the Excess 13 uses the principle of asymmetrical hulls. These are finer in beam below the waterline, guaranteeing excellent performance and easy gliding through the water, all while maintaining living space. The real innovations concern the structure, where all the designers’ creativity has been devoted to lightening the boat’s weight. The result is invisible, but you can feel it.
Aboard the Excess 13, comfort is all about being able to enjoy a well-deserved rest after an intense experience. The interior of this new model is bathed in natural light. Its fully equipped galley, as easily accessible from the cockpit as it is from the saloon, acts as a link between interior and exterior spaces.
The hull dedicated to owners combines a spacious cabin with a large forward heads compartment and, a rare feature on a boat of this size, a large closet. It also features an ergonomically designed desk area with natural light for the boat office. Complementing the chart table, it offers a second workspace, allowing you to reconcile your professional life with your passion for the sea as never before. In the opposite hull, guests enjoy two cabins and two private bathrooms. The real prowess of this Excess 13 lies in the design of, with significant living volumes, vast stowage space and considerable its structure and the position of its bulkheads, creating a high level of habitability headroom, all without compromising the boat’s performance.
The Excess 13 offers answers to all the ways you love the sea. At anchor, it becomes an ideal platform for all nautical activities and the most daring challenges. The monohull-inspired access to the sea via fold-down sugarscoops combines safety and efficiency. Impressive, innovative exterior storage volumes allow you to carry a wide range of equipment for every adventure: diving and snorkeling for fans of the depths; wingfoiling or kitesurfing for adventurous watersports.
The Excess 13 has seen significant success since its launch at last year’s International Multihull Show, it has also brought home several heavyweight industry recognition including:
– The “Multihull of the Year 2025” award in the “IMS Premiere” category at the International Multihull Show;
